Inclusive Support for Orphans and Children with Disabilities

At WiGLI, our household-centered approach ensures that no child is left behind. Among the children we support are orphans and those living with disabilities, who often face barriers to education, healthcare, and daily life.

One child ( Japhet N.) , living with a disability, required intensive care that limited the family’s ability to work or attend school. To address this, WiGLI partnered with a specialized institution to provide rehabilitation sessions, allowing the older sibling to work and the younger children to continue their education.

Recognizing that the family had no proper home, WiGLI collaborated with local authorities, who contributed bricks and timber, while we provided roofing sheets, doors, and windows. Together, we built a safe, dignified, and permanent home for the children.

This story reflects WiGLI’s holistic vision: meeting urgent needs, fostering long-term resilience, and restoring dignity to the most vulnerable members of our communities.

By addressing both immediate and structural needs, WiGLI ensures that every child regardless of circumstance  has a chance to thrive.
